North East Stren Series Change of Venue

by Don Zaegel on October 3rd, 2007

UPDATE:   The scheduled Northeastern Division Stren event has changed venues due to extremely low water levels on Kerr Reservoir. As a result, Lake Gaston will host the event out of Americamps in Bracey, VA.

Alot of the central eastern region waters are experiencing the same conditions due to a lack of rainfall. If anyone in the region is severley bored or going dancing anyway, make sure you do a raindance while you are at it.

This drought’s been going on for far too long. We got a little bit of rain last night … and, when I say a little, I mean a little. Rivers have been down in Missouri lately as well.

    JDL,
On day two of the event there was a 3 hr. fog delay meaning they only got to fish for 5 hrs. Ever fish Lake Dardanelle? Good fishing I hear. BASS had a major out there earlier this year.

Dude as if it weren’t depressing enough for the entire region to not be getting any water, do we really need to keep dwelling on it (no pun intended)?

Here is a link to a video that a fellow angler had shown me. There is no relief in sight.
