Federation Nation Announces 2008 Championship Location
I have always wondered why more national championship aren’t more centraly located to help facilitate anglers coming from all four corners of our nation. Well in 2008, the BASS Federation Nation won’t have to answer that question.
Announced yesterday by BASS was that the location for the 2008 BASS Federation Nation Championship. It will take place on Milford Lake out of Junction City, KS. To my knowledge, this lake has never been host to a major BASS fishing event. Regardless, the community is welcoming the stop with open arms.
The announcement came quickly and with no surprise concluding this years event. The 2007 FedNat Championship just wrapped up this past weekend. You can read about it in my “Classic Bound Cop” blog.
Next years championship should provide us with a showing of both large and small mouth bass and another great handful of anglers on their way to the Bassmaster’s Classic

I am fishing a divisional in WI next year that would qualify me for this event, I can honestly say, that I am not that excited about going to Kansas in November….
