Dianna Clark Wins 3rd Stop on WBT

Dianna Clark of Bumpus Mills, Tennessee won the third stop on the Women’s Bassmaster Tour this past weekend on Old Hickory Lake in her home state of Tennessee. Her third WBT victory was in part to her three day weight of 36-5 lbs. which was anchored by her day 2 weight and largest single day weight of the tournament with 16-12 lbs.
The 2006 AOY’s fish all came off a shallow water area up in the Cumberland River Impoundment. “I’m finally back on track, I hope”, Clark told BASS reporters. Clark was sitting 57th in the AOY points standing prior to this event. She is sure to make of some ground, but is still far off from her 2006 AOY title and her ‘07 finish of 8th.
Alabama pro Kim Bain held onto her AOY lead with a 7th place finish. There is one regular season event left on Clarks Hill Reservoir, September 18-20 before the years final Championship event. To see the final standings from this past weekend, click here.
