Big Bass Expected On Tap In Texas
The 2008 Bassmaster Classic Champion, Alton Jones is making a guarantee and backing a prediction on what he thinks will happen this weekend as the BASS Elite Series make it’s 3rd scheduled stop of the year on the newly famed Falcon Lake in Texas this Thursday through Sunday. Jones told BASS in an article that, “It’s good. It will take triple digits to win. I guarantee it”. Jones who has said that he spent 43 days on Falcon Lake in this past offseason is also backing a bold prediction that is being made by many. There is a state full of anglers and fans down in Texas that believe this weekends tournament will produce a new 4 day total weight beating the current record of 122.14 lbs set by Steve Kennedy last year on CLear Lake in California. “It’s going to be an eye opening experience” Jones said.
This will definitley be an exciting tournament to watch and even more exciting to be able to participate in. Maybe next year the can call this event the “Big Bass Bonanza” or a Mark Zona might say, “The Big Bass Ranchorea Beatdown”. You can be assured that I will be tuned in (DVR) on ESPN2 the Saturday morning following this weekends tournaments to see all of the on the water coverage. That means that you will get to hear all of my reviews and opinions following the event.
